My third week in Rotterdam // Endrik
09.05
Woke up at 07.10, ate my regular breakfast, cooked 200g of chicken filet with vegetables and 2 eggs to take to work with me. At work I got more familiar with Bootstrap 4 and after that i rewrote the whole profile page code from scratch because I didn't like the old code, which I wrote. It was kind of buggy/messy, new code is pure perfection, even my teammates liked the outcome. After work I ate salad and then we went out to a park called Vroesenpark, we were there for a couple of hours. There was alot of people grilling and just having fun, we sat next to a lake with ducks. At some point me and Brenet went home for a sec to get bread, while Henri was waiting for us at the park. When we got back to park, we fed the ducks and watched them do their stuff. Was lots of fun, saw ducks fighting and just cruising around the lake. After that went back home, but made a little stop at a bridge, where we saw zoo animals, some angry birds at lake, watched them for some time and then went home to sleep because it was quite late.

Woke up at 10.00, ate regular breakfast. About a hour later Brenet's girlfriend arrived also, so I had to move out of my room and start sleeping on couch for 4 days. At around 13.00 I cooked my lunch, I made tuna with onion, garlic and eggs. While seasoning the meat with pepper, the lid fell off and my food got a little bit peppery. After lunch we hit the gym, we trained chest and legs. After gym we went to bike repair to have my front mudguard attached with a screw, I lost the screw yesterday while visiting the park and it started making very strong noises, well atleast got it fixed now, the guy who fixed my bike did it for free, which was pretty nice. After that me, Brenet and his girlfriend went out to get ice cream and check shops at city. At some point they went to markethall, I went home to write blog and study Bootstrap 4.

Woke up at 7.15, this was first night in my new bed, slept for 7 hours. For breakfast I had 80g of oats mixed with 5 strawberries, 50g of blueberries and 2 scoops of protein. Didnt cook anything to work. Today we had an meeting with client, i shaked hand with him and showed him my work, he like it, but on smaller devices some components werent responsive, so I started working on it. Later that day some kind of crew came to our office, they were shooting rap music video? Well I got to be a part of the video also. After work we didn't go to gym, just had a day off.

Woke up at 10.00, ate my every day breakfast. At 11.00 we went to the Gym with brenet, trained shoulders and abs and did some cardio. After gym I made myself tuna-macarona salad. After lunch we went to a shopping mall, looked around at shops like JD, Primark, Foot Locker etc. I didn't get anything, wanted to buy sneakers from JD, but they didn't have my shoe number. We also had our dinner at the mall, we went to some healthy restaurant, I had myself chicken teriyaki wok. After that we went back home, as of now, I can say that Rotterdam is like second home town, no need for gps, maps etc, can navigate without help.

Woke up at 10.00, had my breakfast, which was 80g of oats with 50g of blueberries, 5 strawberries and 2 scoops of protein. At around 12 we went to Rotterdam Zoo, the ticket costed us 21.5 euros. We saw all kinds of animals, flamingos, gorillas, monkeys, lions, zebras, giraffes, we even saw bees behind a glass, which was pretty strange, since I've never seen an bee exhibition in a zoo. We went to a eating place at the zoo also, others had kebabs and stuff like that, I silently ate my salad, which i precooked at home. After zoo me and Henri went to grocery shop, bought all kinds of food and also bought a 4pack of icecream, i liked the ice cream so much, that I ate all the 4 ice creams in 1 sitting. After eating ice cream I got highly motivated to go to the gym, so me and Brenet went, and unfortunately the gym was closed, well now we atleast know that on sundays the gym closes at 16.00. Well after that we went back home and jump roped instead. Brenet had like 15 min session, I jumped for around 30 mins although my knees and ankles were hurting, did low pace cardio and drilled some tricks. For dinner I had omelet with salad. Day ended with writing blog and hanging at laptop.

Woke up at 7.15, for breakfast I had 80g of oats, 40g of blueberries and 5 strawberries. Also prepared my lunch for work. At work my job was to work on the profile page, buttons werent responsive and on smaller devices the paddings/margins went a little bit too high, so I worked on that. After work I went home and cooked chicken filet, which i bought like 1-2 days ago, had very strange smell, but well u can't just throw protein away, so I cooked it up and eated it, some chunks tasted strange, so I threw about 100g of chicken away. After that we went to the gym with Brenet to train arms and abs.

First thing at work we discussed what we are going to do today with team, after that we had stand-up, where we gave a grade on how we were feeling today, after that everybody said what they were doing, what problems they had on the projects etc. For lunch I ate my salad and also made 2 sandwiches. After lunch I started working on the destinations page, built the basic skeleton as of today. After work we went to gym with Brenet, trained chest and legs. Day ended with a trip to the grocery shop and writing blog until bedtime.
